"Dear Jodie and all your lovely ladies that cared for Vera. Thanks for everything you have done to care for Vera in such a loving and professional way. Ray and I have been so lucky to know that she was in safe hands, cared for by people who loved her as their own. Again, thank you all from the bottom of our hearts."

“The service we received from Lesley and her team at Crown Homecare was extraordinary. I don’t remember the exact timing, save to say that cover for our 88 year old father was provided at very short notice within around 24 hours. The approach was professional, contact exemplary and above all the care was sympathetic and appropriate. I would recommend Lesley and her team to anyone needing help with care of a loved one.”
Dear Lesley and Jodie,
Sheila and I would like to Thank You Claire and Janice for the very proffessional care and attention given to my aunt.
I can vouch for Lesley Packham’s ability to manage and deliver first class home health care services. She is someone in whom you can have trust and complete confidence, as she has years of experience of caring for others both as a nurse and as a manager of domiciliary care services. Lesley's standards are exceptionally high, so she expects, and supports, her staff to achieve these standards. In fact, her commitment to staff training will enable Crown Home Care to provide a service to her clients which is second to none. Lesley understands the needs of older people, particularly with regard to providing home care services for the elderly. She can empathise with people; listening to what the individual wants and needs and working hard to provide that special service. Should that service ever fell short, Lesley would want to be the first to know, in order to put it right. She is honest, committed and full of integrity, which are qualities that are so crucial for a care provider. Nothing is too much trouble for Lesley, and you can be assured that the service you receive will surpass your expectations in every way.

I have known Lesley Packham in a professional and personal capacity for over five years. She is one of the most committed and enthusiastic people I have ever worked withand has a great drive to succeed. However, she always focuses on putting the individuals’ needs first. I have nothing but admiration for her energy and work ethic and know that Crown Home Care will be a great success as a business and for its clients.

I have worked with Lesley over a number of years and have always been impressed with her professional and caring attitude towards people with disabilities. She always puts the patient/client first and does her very best for them. She is highly efficient and managed care packages and supported carers extremely well. I wish her the very best of luck in this new venture.

I was an employee of Lesley’s for six years. During that time I always found her to be caring, considerate, empathetic and committed to her clients and carers. I sometimes helped Lesley with recruiting staff and witnessed her skill, ability and interviewing techniques. I know, therefore, that Lesley takes the utmost care to employ the calibre of personnel who, like herself, have the experience, commitment and empathy so needed in the care industry. Suffice to say I would confidently entrust the care of my mum to her, if the need ever arises.

Anyone who can help you with the heart-breaking realisation that you do not have sufficient personal resources to take on the full time care of a loved one with Alzheimer’s, has a rare gift. For our family that person was Lesley Packham. From our initial meeting it was clear that she was determined to provide the highest quality of care available for our mother. We were deeply concerned about introducing ‘strangers’ to the situation but Lesley’s skill in reassuring us gave us the confidence to move forward. In the seven years that Lesley managed my mother’s care package she was a constant ‘listening ear’ and took all our concerns to heart. No worry was too inconsequential and Lesley, as well as being on the end of a telephone, often made herself available for face to face meetings. It is clear that she has a profound understanding of the effect that Alzheimer’s has, not only on the sufferer but also on their loved ones.

For the six years I have known Lesley, she was a director of a care company I worked for and was closely involved with ensuring clients had everything they needed to be able to live as fulfilling a life as their condition would allow. Lesley was always calm, focused, professional and respected by everyone. In addition to her caring for clients, Lesley looked after her staff, always making herself available to solve any problem or calm any worry. I wish Lesley well in her new venture, her clients and carers are lucky to have her as a care provider and employer.
Lesley Packham was a director of a thriving domiciliary care company for a number of years. There she led an excellent team and created an environment where caring with compassion was embedded. She has, therefore, a true understanding of care for vulnerable adults and older people, demonstrating an outstanding ability to match carers with clients and to quickly diffuse any issues that may arise. Lesley recognises the need for ever more understanding of dementia and those who suffer it. From this arises her determination to ensure all carers not only have empathy and knowledge of the disease but are thoroughly well trained in all aspects of their work.
